Comedian, “Full House,” star Bob Saget has died at 65




 


Legendary comedian, TV host, and star of the successful sitcom Full House Bob Saget has died. 


The 65 year old was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz Carlton Orlando. 

Last night, Saget performed a stand up show in Ponte Verde Beach Florida. The show was the second of his “I Don’t Do Negative Tour,” which kicked off Friday in Orlando, and was scheduled to continue through June

The Orange Sheriffs Office Confirmed his death this evening, noting that no drugs were found at the scene, and there were no signs of foul play

Saget burst on the scene in 1987 when he began starring on the ABC Sitcom Full House. Saget played Danny Tanner, a recently widowed father and sportscaster(later morning show host), who asked his brother-in-law Jesse, and best friend Joey to move in and help take care of his three young daughters. The show ran for 8 seasons on ABC, and continued to be popular for multiple generations thanks to syndication. The show spawned a sequel series, Fuller House which ran on Netflix from 2016 to 2020. Saget reprised his role periodically throughout the shows 5 season run. 



In 1989, Saget began hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos on ABC, which he continued doing until 1997. 




Saget most recently competed on the Fox TV show The Masked Singer, where he performed in the Squiggly Monster costume. He was eliminated in the sixth episode.

Bob Saget leaves behind a wife and three children. He was 65
